I honestly didn't have a coherent idea for this piece and figured out the name for this after finishing it, haha.
John Martin's paintings were a big influence on this piece through out the process of making it. Also first time using Rebelle to finish the painting off to get that nice canvas texture and brush emulation I feel is a nice touch.
I feel like I'm finally getting to the style I like, kind of Romanticism but not quite. I still feel like I need to learn to tame my colors a bit more. Need to start with way less color than I'm comfortable with.
